Pre-4th of July:

Did you know that there are 3,200 abortions performed in America every day?

Adolf Hitler murdered 6 million Jews. While the holocaust went on for years, to this day, the horror and regret of the German people is the fact that they, as a nation, did nothing, or to speak up against what was going on before their very eyes.

On January 22, 1973, The United States Supreme Court made an unconstitutional decision to sign into American law, the legal right for one person to be able to take the life of another person - by abortion.

Most Americans reflect upon the German holocaust as the most dispicable event in world history, and yet, we as Christians, have for the most part, remained silent about the holocaust of 55 million American babies that have lost their innocent live by legalized abortion since 1973 here in America.

Today, the killing continues with 3200 abortions taking place every day. You are invited to do more than just think or talk about this holocaust.

Can you imagine:

If 800 men, women, and children showed up to carry 800 crosses (each cross representing 4 abortions) in the 4th of July parade in the small town of Lake City, Michigan, that has a population of 800? Can you imagine?

Impact:

Only God knows the impact this event could make in a community, and even a nation. The national Washington D.C. march that takes place every year on the anniversary of Roe v. Wade, draws hundreds of thousands of people, yet the press basicly ignores the event because it is just "expected" and that takes place every year.

But, what if 800 people showed up to carry 800 crosses in a town with a population of 800? Can you imagine the impact?


Parade Identification:

1. The Wexford/Missaukee Right to Life 8' x 12' double sided portable billboard will lead the procession.

2. Directly behind the billboard trailer, a banner will lead the 800 crosses parade procession stating: "Each of these crosses represent 4 abortions in the U.S. every day."

3. Poster board signs on each sides of the trailer carrying the 800 crosses that will read: "pick up a cross and follow me."

4. Suggested signs of encouragement at the rear of the procession to those who may have had an abortion such as: 1: "Celebrate Life" 2: "There is forgiveness in Jesus" 3: "Jesus lives, Jesus loves, Jesus Forgives!"





Funding:

If you feel led to contribute to the approximate cost of $1200. for the crosses, it would be sincerely appreciated.
